About Our Family Business
Eight years, nine cleaners, one stubborn standard.
Our story
Two sisters, one shared standard.
Hya Sisters Cleaning Company LLC was founded in 2016 by Billie Delarosa and her older sister Andrea, after fifteen combined years cleaning vacation rentals along Lake George. We had grown frustrated watching the industry chase volume — twenty homes a day, twenty rushed visits, twenty quiet disappointments.
So we built the opposite. A small team. A real checklist. The same two cleaners assigned to your home so they remember which drawer the dish towels live in and which lampshade is fragile.
Eight years later we're still small on purpose: nine employees, one office on Joes Road, and zero subcontractors. Every cleaner is W-2, background checked, and insured under our policy — not theirs.
What we believe
Four small principles, written on the wall of our office.
1. Slow is clean.
A rushed clean is a missed clean. We schedule realistic visit windows and pay our team hourly — not by the house — so corners never feel like the right answer.
2. Same crew, every time.
Familiarity beats turnover. Recurring clients are paired with a dedicated two-person team that learns the home like a friend would.
3. Honest pricing.
Flat-rate quotes given after a 10-minute walkthrough or a video call. No "trip fees", no "supply fees", no surprises on the invoice.
4. Easy to leave.
No contracts. No cancellation penalties. If you ever want to pause or stop, a single text is all it takes.
By the numbers
We try to keep our company small and accountable. Here's what that looks like in 2026:
- 9 employees — all W-2, all paid above the New York state minimum wage.
- $2M general liability + $1M umbrella — proof of insurance available on request.
- 110+ recurring residential clients across Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties.
- 18 small business contracts including two medical practices and a real-estate brokerage.
- 4.9 ★ average across 217 verified reviews.
- Less than 0.4% redo-rate measured over the last twelve months.
